These customers in Carmel decided they were ready to revitalize their home’s interior. They contacted Walla Painting to transform their interior living space and give it a more updated look. They felt that their wood trim was outdated and made their home feel old, and they had wanted to change it for some time. They also wanted something more in trend for their wall color than their current yellow color.
They were fascinated with the latest color trends they saw online and wanted to transform their home’s interior and pictured themselves enjoying living in something resembling what they saw online. They had a vision of creating a new vibrant living space that would give their home a fresh update and were excited to have the transformation begin!
They decided to hire Walla Painting because they knew the wood conversion project of their wood trim was not something they could successfully tackle themselves. They had painted their walls previously and found the task challenging to complete. With our years of experience and proven track record of customer satisfaction, they felt hiring us to handle both jobs was a good decision. They were confident in our work and trusted us to finish their projects efficiently and with the beautiful high-quality results they wanted.
These customers were also concerned about their brand-new carpeting and the possibility of paint splatters or spills. We assured them we would take great care to protect their new carpeting as we worked in their home. When we began the customer’s project, we covered their new carpeting with drop cloths and secured them tightly against the baseboards with tape to prevent the carpeting from being damaged while we worked.
The wood conversion began by thoroughly sanding the wood and priming it with an extreme bond primer. We allowed the primer to cure for 24 hours. We then applied two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Trim Satin Tricorn in Black to the front door, handrails, posts, stair treads, and risers.
The rest of the trim, including all the other doors, door frames, baseboards, spindles, and window trim, was painted with one coat of Sherwin Williams Emerald Trim Semi Gloss in Swiss Coffee. The customers provided us with this color to color match if needed to get the desired look.
The walls were patched and sanded where necessary to prepare the surface for new paint. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Designer Satin paint in Intrepid Grey were applied to the walls. The colors our customers selected look terrific and give their home’s interior a gorgeous up-to-date look!
Our customer said, “I think it looks beautiful, and I love the wood grain still showing through the paint!”. Our customers were extremely satisfied with the results.
We transformed this home from looking tired and outdated to a modern and up-to-date look by painting their walls a more in-trend color and doing a wood conversion on their wood trim, while protecting their brand new carpeting.
