A long-time customer of Walla Painting reached out to us for help adding color and contrast to their new home. They wanted to spruce up their living space by painting two accent walls in different rooms. Also, they wanted a new color for their kitchen island to add some life to their kitchen.
Having been clients of Walla Painting for many years, these clients know our quality work firsthand. We are always pleased and honored to have repeat clients!
The Walla Painting crew was more than happy to assist them with their painting needs. Our team of professional painters worked closely with them to understand their vision and bring it to life. For the kitchen island, they wanted a bold and vibrant color that would help draw attention to the centerpiece of their new kitchen. They selected Sherwin Williams Emerald Trim Semi-Gloss in Iron Ore 7069 as the new paint color for the kitchen island.
o prepare the cabinets, we began by removing all doors, faces, and hardware before sanding all surfaces. Our client kindly allowed us to use a small open area in their garage to set up a paint station for the cabinet doors and drawers. We thoroughly cleaned all areas to ensure a good surface for the new paint. Next, we filled major gaps with caulk and primed all points with tinted Sherwin Williams Extreme Bond Primer. After allowing the primer to sit overnight, we applied two coats of SW Emerald Trim Semi-gloss Iron Ore 7069 to all surfaces. It’s important to note that newly painted cabinets take 30 days to cure fully.
Selecting the perfect paint colors for different rooms in a house can be daunting, but it’s also a fun and exciting experience. In this particular case, our clients decided to use SW Duration Matte in Accessible Beige 7036 for the main walls in both the front office and master bedroom. This color gave the rooms a warm and inviting feel, which was precisely what they were looking for.
To add visual interest and contrast, this client wanted an accent wall in the front office and master bedroom. The front office’s accent wall was painted in the striking color SW Iron Ore 7609, which created a bold and dramatic effect. Meanwhile, the master bedroom’s accent wall was painted in the rich and luxurious color SW Black Magic 6991, which made a statement and added depth to the room.
Our clients were absolutely thrilled with the results and are excited to continue using Walla Painting for more upcoming projects they have planned.
The end result of this project was a stunning transformation that left our repeat clients thrilled and satisfied. The new colors and accents brought life into their new home, giving it a fresh and modern look that they had been hoping for. The Walla Painting team is proud to have been a part of this transformation and look forward to continuing to help our Koblesville clients enhance the beauty of their new home.
