Commercial Painting services

Do you own or manage a small commercial business? If so, you understand the importance of keeping it maintained. Having an attractive and clean environment can energize employees and attract customers and clients.

The quickest and most economical way to update the look of your business is to have it repainted. New colors can brighten up a dull space and make it appear larger. If you’ve rebranded, using the new design and colors in the building may be your goal.

Commercial Painting Has Its Unique Challenges

Unlike residential painting, commercial projects require special consideration for ongoing business operations. Unless businesses plan to close during the painting project, the painters must work around the employees, customers, and equipment.

Preparation is especially important for commercial projects. That’s why we cordon off each area to be painted to minimize disruptions and noise. We will use low- or no-VOC paints to eliminate noxious odors. We can also work around your schedule, if needed.

Walla also takes extra care in clean-up after each day’s work. There will be no materials that will get in the way of individuals doing their jobs or conducting business.

Types of Businesses We Paint

Walla focuses on painting the interiors of smaller businesses and offices. We do not service large scale industrial settings like malls, educational buildings, large restaurants, manufacturing facilities, etc. Some types of businesses we paint include:

General Offices

Walla paints all types of commercial office space. Many offices have cubicles, kitchens, break rooms and restrooms that need painting. We will work around those obstacles with minimal disturbance to employees and ongoing operations.

Medical and Dental Offices

It can be tricky painting offices where there are medical or dental procedures occurring. It requires the painters to cordon off certain sections of the building, painting sections at a time. It also may be necessary to paint during off hours while there are no patients present.

Retail Stores

If you own or manage a small retail establishment, you have customers coming and going during your open hours. Painting must be scheduled around normal business operations.

Spas

Businesses that specialize in providing services like therapeutic massage, beauty treatments and yoga classes need special attention. Clients are there for relaxation, so they don’t want the noise and smell of a painting project. We take extra care to minimize any disruption and use low or no-VOC paints to eliminate any paint odors.

How Colors Affect Moods in the Commercial Environment

Different shades of paint colors will generate certain emotions, so it’s wise to select the right one for your type of business. Here are some general guidelines.

Red increases the energy level in the space. It may be optimal for retail spaces, but don’t make it the dominant color or it can induce feelings of anger.

Yellow generates happy feelings and is ideal for creative environments, like technology firms, artists and decorators.

Blue is a calming color, so using it in medical or dental offices can relax patients and reduce anxiety.

Green is the color of nature and can be calming. It works well in high-stress work environments.

Gray is a great neutral color that can work well alone or as an accent in almost any environment.

White, when used solely, can be stark. Mixing it with other colors can offset that feeling of boredom.

Brown and Black should only be used as accent colors to reduce the closed-in, depressing connotation.
